Abseiling Amden
Abseiling down the dam wall above Lake Walen in beautiful St. Gallen is a popular adrenaline adventure for school classes, companies, clubs, families and friends. Lehni is the meeting point and from there you walk to the 40-metre-high dam wall. The view of the lake and the Glarus Alps is already a highlight on the way. Once you arrive at the dam wall, you will be prepared for the abseil by a trained and experienced guide. You will be fitted with a harness and explained how to abseil. Once you have been equipped with the abseiling and safety equipment and the carabiner, you can venture over the railing of the dam wall. You set the pace and after the first small steps you will experience an incomparable feeling of weightlessness.
