If you have already taken part in a dog sledding tour in winter and this experience was a special adventure for you, you should not miss out on such a husky adventure in summer. The husky summer fun will be a highlight and an unforgettable experience for you. During the day tour at the camp, you can also take part in one of the workshops in a small group and learn a lot about the husky dog breed. Especially in summer, there are a number of different activities to do with the sled dogs.

You will learn a lot about the dogs, their lives, their fur and their everyday lives. The day tours not only offer you plenty of fresh air, but also a very special feeling of freedom and pure enjoyment. This unique experience of a special kind takes place off the beaten tourist track so that you can fully immerse yourself in the huskies. You will experience the Alaskan Malamutes and the Siberian Huskies in their element of wild nature and soon learn to appreciate them as friends. During the husky summer program, you will learn a lot about the breathtaking landscape as well as about yourself and the loyal huskies. The Husky Sommerplausch takes place in the area near the Nordic Camp in Ermenswil.
The meeting point for the Husky Sommerplausch is the Bollingerwald parking lot in Wagen, St. Gallen. Get off at the "Alte Post" bus stop (approx. one minute's walk) if you are arriving by public transport.

With the team, you are out and about with your own team. You will be equipped with a special hip belt, which is directly connected to the sled dog. Now nothing stands in the way of your joint tour through untouched nature. The expedition passes through areas with lots of water. This means that the dogs and you can cool off and refresh yourself at any time. You can review your first impressions and chat with the team while sitting together in a relaxed atmosphere.
One of the special husky experiences with the husky team takes place in spring/summer. For this expedition, we meet at the Nordic Camp and start with a tour of the facility. You will get to know the dogs and learn a lot about the way the huskies are kept - even as a non-expert you will be able to tell the difference. Afterwards, you will help load the dogs and equipment and then we will drive through the beautiful countryside and forest. After the husky tour, we return to the accommodation, you can join the huskies in the kennel and the dogs are happy to be stroked by you. You will remember this intense experience for a long time to come, as you will soon realize how people-oriented and friendly the huskies are.
In addition to the tour, the offer includes a visit to the camp where the huskies live. The trip starts at 09:00 in the morning and lasts until around 13:00. During this time, the temperatures are still cool enough for the huskies. These day trips through the wilderness of Switzerland last around 4 hours. The time flies by.
Bookings of at least 2 people are possible at any time during the week from April to September, depending on the weather and by arrangement. You are always very welcome.
